Аннотация:
This study investigates the phenomenon of pragmatic competence development in students majoring in Linguistics with the sole aim of improving the ability to use a foreign language appropriately and effectively in various social and communicative contexts. The study is highly relevant in today’s digitally mediated world with diverse cultures interaction, where effective communication extends far beyond grammatical accuracy. University students majoring in Linguistics have strong theoretical knowledge of language, yet often face challenges in applying this knowledge pragmatically across diverse digital contexts. The concept is also relevant for advancing language education, enhancing the digital communicative competence of future linguists, and addressing authentic real-world communication needs in an intercultural and increasingly digitalized world.
